Lamination Operator

Job Summary:
The Lamination Operator is responsible for laying up and pressing printed circuit boards according to customer specifications and established work instructions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow work instructions and stacking details.
- Prepare jobs for Client-up according to specifications.
- Verify engineering stacking details meet customer requirements.
- Perform alternative oxide processes for inner layers.
- Set up and monitor lamination presses.
- Flat bake panels/boards when required.
- Examine completed panels for defects.
- Update tracking software and complete lamination logs.
- Complete required traveler information, including initials and dates.
- Move completed jobs to the next department.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Notify supervisors of machinery or job-related problems.
- Stop processing when non-conforming product or equipment is identified and notify the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read travelers, stacking details, and blueprints.
- Ability to complete travelers and logs accurately.
- Ability to complete job-associated paperwork clearly and effectively.
- Ability to use micrometers and a hydraulic lift.
- Ability to use Windows and Prototrak software.
- Previous lamination experience is preferred, but not required.
- Approximately 3 months of experience preferred.
Level of Responsibility:
- General knowledge of lamination practices and quality system requirements.
- Works under general direction.
- Solves average-complexity problems within the department.
- Errors in judgment may have a moderate impact on the department
