Job Summary
The Technician is responsible for supporting laboratory operations by maintaining equipment, preparing samples, and performing basic testing and analysis. This role follows established procedures and requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, maintain, and calibrate standard laboratory equipment
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Complete required documentation and forms related to tasks and requests
- Follow direction from technicians or chemists on specialized or complex issues
- Perform basic calculations for sample preparation and analysis
- Conduct standard technical tests and analyses based on formulas and project requirements
- Prepare samples, materials, equipment, and tools for laboratory testing or development
- Perform coating spray application
- Complete assigned tasks within established timelines
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills (data entry, communication, and data analysis)
- Ability to learn laboratory software systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
