- 40hrs per week with no OT. This job will include lab work, measuring accurately with scale, weighing and pouring materials, operating somewhat complex equipment while following safety and work instructions, keeping work place clean, good reading, testing and observational skills.
- Accurately recording results and observations related to batch making, sample preparation, and panel testing
- Making paint samples using equipment
- Spraying or applying coatings to small test panels
- Measuring properties of wet paint samples and coated panels
- Assisting in application lab with more complex application techniques
- Communicating information to the project leader
- Routine paperwork for ordering chemical samples, formula samples, etc.
Mandatory:
2 years post-secondary education
