Environmental Working Conditions
• Indoor/Outdoor work which includes varying temperatures, entering coolers and freezers
• Majority of time is spent standing, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required per Safety Policy | Examples of required PPE are: safety glasses, safety shoes, LN gear, face shield, apron, gloves
Education
• Required | High School Diploma or equivalent with three years laboratory experience
• Preferred | Bachelor's degree in science discipline
Responsibilities
- Maintains reagents, supplies, and calibrated equipment
- Prepare reagents and materials
- Reviews data
- Calculating results
- Maintains the cleanliness of the lab
- Communicates schedule, tests status, and concerns clearly and accurately
- Write Laboratory Investigations, as needed.
- Revise Pre-existing Standard Methods and SOPs
- Trains others on methods & procedures

- Good Documentation Practices
- Pipetting
- Weighing
- Troubleshoot / Problem solving beyond method defined action
- Good Communication
- Familiar with good laboratory techniques
- Familiar with the use of autoclaves
