About the Opportunity
We're looking for a collaborative IT Business Analyst with experience working in a software development environment. Ideally, you've also supported software delivery projects in a project management capacity, helping coordinate Agile initiatives from requirements gathering through delivery. In this role, you'll partner with business stakeholders and software development teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions by gathering requirements, supporting Agile delivery, coordinating project activities, and improving business processes.

What You'll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and document functional and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into Epics, Features, User Stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and other Scrum activities.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), document testing results, and help prepare releases for production.
- Work closely with software developers to clarify requirements, answer functional questions, and support successful implementation.
- Maintain project documentation, release notes, process flows, use case diagrams, and product documentation.
- Help prioritize work within Azure DevOps by managing backlogs and supporting product roadmap initiatives.
- Assist with production support activities by researching application issues, validating data, and helping troubleshoot business-related system concerns.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and recommend technology solutions that increase efficiency and enhance the user experience.
- Build strong working relationships across business, QA, development, and leadership teams to ensure successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or Systems Analyst within a software development environment.
- Approximately 1–2 years of Project Management experience supporting software delivery projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile Scrum principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing project backlogs.
- Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage Epics, Features, User Stories, sprint boards, and release activities.
- Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, use case diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with exceptional organizational abilities.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
- Experience with product support and production issue resolution.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, Power BI, Visio, Microsoft Teams, Copilot, and Power Automate.
- Experience working with geographically distributed or offshore development teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
