We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support Front Office Trading Technology initiatives within a global capital markets environment. This role sits within the Pre-Trade IT team and partners directly with traders, sales traders, and technology teams to enhance and support trading workflows, execution platforms, and algorithmic trading capabilities across Equities and Securities Financing.
This is a highly visible role focused on trade execution systems, order lifecycle workflows, and real-time trading applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong front-office experience, understand trading workflows end-to-end, and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
Partner directly with Front Office stakeholders (Traders, Sales Traders, Desk Heads) to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for trading applications and execution workflows. Analyze and improve pre-trade business processes, focusing on order management, execution efficiency, and workflow optimization. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows for development teams. Support enhancements and integrations across OMS/EMS platforms and in-house trading applications. Work closely with development, QA, and production support teams to deliver new functionality and resolve production issues. Conduct data analysis to support trading workflows, execution quality, and business decision-making. Participate in UAT, regression testing, and release validation to ensure business requirements are met. Provide production support and user assistance for front-office trading systems.Required Qualifications

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week; includes required in-office Mondays and Fridays based on team rotation)
- Act as a liaison between business users and technology teams to drive delivery and ensure alignment.
- 5–9 years of Business Analysis experience within Front Office Trading Technology
- Strong experience supporting trade execution systems and pre-trade workflows
- Solid understanding of the order execution lifecycle from order creation through execution and allocation
- Strong knowledge of equities trading workflows and market structure
- Understanding of order types(Market, Limit, Stop, IOC, FOK, VWAP, TWAP, Iceberg, etc.)
- Experience with algorithmic trading workflows and execution strategies
- Hands-on experience with OMS/EMS platforms such as:
- Fidessa
- Bloomberg EMSX
- ION
- Horizon Trading Solutions
- Strong understanding of FIX Protocol and trade messaging workflows
- Strong SQL and Excel skills for data analysis
- Experience writing business requirements, functional specs, and user stories
- Strong UAT and testing experience
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments
- Experience supporting Global Securities Financing / Securities Lending
- Experience with electronic trading platforms and smart order routing
- Exposure to global trading environments and cross-regional teams
- Production support experience within a trading environment
