Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and self-driven professional to support insurance and risk-related functions within a loan servicing environment. This role requires the ability to assess complex situations, evaluate risk, and clearly communicate findings to various stakeholders.

This is not a checklist-driven role —the ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide variety of responsibilities that may vary day-to-day. Success in this position requires strong critical thinking, adaptability, and the ability to operate independently while maintaining accuracy and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

Insurance & Risk Analysis

  • Perform detailed insurance analysis on commercial properties held as collateral
  • Assess complex risks related to insurance and real estate assets
  • Review appraisals and supporting documentation to evaluate exposure

Escrow & Financial Oversight

  • Manage insurance premium disbursements from escrow accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing aligned with investor requirements

Compliance & Monitoring

  • Monitor insurance compliance in accordance with:
    • Investor guidelines
    • Pooling and Servicing Agreements (PSAs)
    • Applicable laws and mortgage documentation
  • Protect investor interests through diligent oversight and risk mitigation

Stakeholder Communication

  • Correspond with servicers, investors, borrowers, and insurance agents
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure compliance

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Background in Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, or Real Estate
  • Experience handling complex analysis and risk assessment
  • Ability to interpret and apply contractual, legal, and financial documentation
