We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support instrumentation and control-system engineering for a large industrial refining project. This role will work closely with Process, Electrical, Piping, and other engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review instrumentation and controls engineering deliverables.
- Support instrument specifications, datasheets, control-system requirements, and technical documentation.
- Review P&IDs and identify instrumentation requirements.
- Assist with instrument selection and application.
- Coordinate instrumentation requirements with Process, Electrical, Piping, and Mechanical disciplines.
- Review vendor documentation and equipment packages.
- Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet applicable project standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related discipline.
- Industrial instrumentation/controls engineering experience.
- Experience within refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil and gas, or EPC environments preferred.
- Familiarity with P&IDs and industrial instrumentation.
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston.
