We are seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Designer to support the development of instrumentation design deliverables for a major industrial refining project.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise instrumentation drawings and design documentation.
- Support instrument location plans, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, installation details, and related deliverables.
- Interpret P&IDs and engineering markups.
- Coordinate instrument locations and routing requirements with Piping, Electrical, Structural, and Process teams.
- Incorporate project specifications and engineering requirements into design documents.
- Participate in model/design reviews.
- Maintain drawing quality and project design standards.
Qualifications
- Instrumentation design experience in industrial/process facilities.
- Experience with refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil and gas, or EPC projects preferred.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs and instrumentation documentation.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong CAD/design software capabilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Houston.
