Data Center General Labor / Installation Support Technician
Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable Data Center General Labor / Installation Support Technician to assist with a short-term project supporting equipment modifications, material handling, and site cleanup within a data center environment.
This is a short-term assignment to start, with the potential to return for additional as-needed project work based on customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Remove small bolts and hardware from equipment using basic hand and power tools.
- Remove and relocate lightweight metal components/panels.
- Stack and organize removed parts on pallets for shipment.
- Assist with preparing, staging, and securing materials for shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Remove packaging, debris, and other materials from the work area.
- Follow onsite safety procedures and direction from the project lead.
- Perform other general installation and project-support tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using basic hand tools and power tools.
- Impact driver/screw gun and basic hand tools preferred.
- Able to perform hands-on work, including bending, standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.
- Reliable and able to follow instructions in a data center environment.
- Previous data center, construction, installation, warehouse, mechanical, or general labor experience is helpful but not required.
