Industrial Maintenance Technician

Nesco Resource is currently recruiting for skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technicians to help keep our client’s manufacturing operations running efficiently and safely. This is an excellent full-time, Direct Hire opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong multi-craft maintenance experience and a commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs during production operations.
- Install, maintain, and service machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to complete maintenance tasks accurately.
- Repair or replace defective components and perform testing and adjustments to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling devices safely and effectively.
- Assist with maintenance and operation of conveyor systems, packaging equipment, vacuum sealers, boilers, and related production equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), HACCP, and sanitation requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support production demands by working overtime and extended hours when necessary.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. (food manufacturing a plus!)
- Strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with PLCs, HVAC systems, high-voltage equipment, conveyors, and facility maintenance.
- Experience with boiler systems and conveyor operations is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work overtime.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field from an accredited institution preferred.
Pay: $33.00 to $36.00 per hour, DOE
