A growing Rochester manufacturer is looking for a mechanically sharp Maintenance Tech ready to own a wide variety of hands-on challenges — from troubleshooting production equipment and repairing pumps and motors to supporting installs and facility upgrades. What you'll work on:
- Maintain and repair production machinery, pumps, motors, and mechanical systems
- Diagnose issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools (multimeter, etc.)
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Collaborate on facility improvement and capital projects
- Operate forklifts, cranes, and other mobile equipment safely
- Develop creative interim fixes when OEM parts are on delay
Target background:
- Hands-on industrial maintenance experience — manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience with pumps, pulleys, and motors (3-phase and single-phase, up to 100 HP)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting technical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting instincts in a production environment
- Safety-minded, adaptable, willing to work OT when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
