Senior Industrial Maintenance Tech / Resourceful "MacGyver" Mechanic
Pay based on Experience $34 to $44 Paid Lunch

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly resourceful, "MacGyver"-style Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Electrician(Helpful) for our manufacturing facility in the area. This role is designed for a gifted "farm mechanic" who excels at creative problem-solving and can reliably keep legacy and modern machinery running. You will operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume electrical, mechanical, and facilities repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Troubleshooting & Machine Maintenance

  • Diagnose, bypass, or repair complex interlocking machine failures directly at the machine level. ( Develop creative diagnostic workarounds to isolate faults and repair complex machine failures safely).
  • Keep legacy machinery operational through creative engineering and adaptation when standard parts are unavailable.
  • Perform comprehensive break-fix maintenance on overhead cranes and hoisting systems.
  • Rebuild, flush, and repair high-pressure hydraulic systems and industrial components.
  • Maintain and repair commercial HVAC units and motorized overhead garage doors. Welding a plus.
Electrical Systems & Schematics
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install 3-phase and 4-phase industrial electrical infrastructure.
  • Interpret intricate electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics accurately.
Sourcing & Structural Projects
  • Independently source replacement components online, utilizing specialized vendor networks to locate obsolete, hard-to-find parts for older machines.
  • Execute large-form concrete pouring and structural repairs for heavy machinery foundations.
Role Requirements & Pre-Employment Screening
  • The "MacGyver" Mindset: Exceptional, non-traditional problem-solving skills with a proven track record of fixing things with whatever resources are on hand.
  • Tool Ownership: Candidates must possess and provide their own personal tools necessary for industrial maintenance work.
  • Safety Equipment: Mandatory use of composite or steel-toed safety shoes on the production floor.
  • Drug Screening: Candidates must successfully pass a mandatory 10-panel in-house drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Licensing Status: No electrical license is required
  • Unlicensed master-level "farm mechanics" are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Physical Expectations: Robust physical stamina required for industrial facility tasks.
  • Schedule: Standard weekday shifts in a fast-paced environment with minimal weekend work.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Market Pay: Compensation is fully competitive and aligned with the prevailing industrial maintenance market rates in the Southern New Hampshire / Greater Nashua area. Pay scales will match the specific depth of your real-world experience level.
  • Licensed Premium: While a license is not legally required for this role, candidates possessing a valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license will be compensated at the premium licensed electrician market rate.
  • Paid daily lunch period included in standard shift tracking.
