Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00/hr during the initial 2-week training period
Upon successful completion of training, compensation transitions to $10.00/hr plus commission
Typical earnings range from approximately $800 - $1,200 per week

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to manage and grow existing customer accounts. This position is responsible for building relationships with current customers, processing orders, recommending additional products, and increasing sales within established accounts. The ideal candidate enjoys speaking with customers, providing excellent service, and identifying opportunities to grow existing business relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Contact existing customers by phone to maintain and strengthen business relationships
Handle a high volume of outbound calls throughout the day (up to 150 calls daily)
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Recommend additional products and promotions to increase account sales
Follow up with customers regarding inventory needs, reorder schedules, and product availability
Maintain detailed customer records and account notes within company software
Utilize computer systems to enter orders, track customer activity, and manage account information
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
Meet individual sales and performance goals

Qualifications

Previous sales, customer service, account management, call center, or collections experience preferred
Comfortable spending most of the day on the phone
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
Patient, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

Office-based position
Frequent phone and computer use throughout the day
Performance-driven environment with commission opportunities
Focus on servicing and growing existing customer accounts rather than cold calling for new business

Ideal Candidate

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, has strong communication skills, and is motivated by earning commission through upselling and account growth. Success in this position comes from excellent customer service, persistence, and the ability to identify opportunities within existing accounts.
