Overview
Client is seeking an Identity Data Analyst & Tester with hands-on experience in SailPoint and Okta to support enterprise Identity and Access Management initiatives. This contract role focuses on identity data analysis, access validation, lifecycle testing, audit support, and control verification to help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of identity and access data across the environment.
Core Responsibilities
Analyze identity, account, and entitlement data within SailPoint environments.
Reconcile SailPoint data with HR systems, directories, and connected applications.
Identify orphaned accounts and support identity correlation and rule validation activities.
Test provisioning and deprovisioning processes across downstream applications.
Validate Okta joiner, mover, and leaver workflows.
Verify group membership, attribute mappings, and access enforcement in Okta.
Identify discrepancies between Okta, directories, and integrated applications.
Execute test plans for identity lifecycle processes and access controls.
Validate control design and operating effectiveness for SOX and ITGC-related controls.
Document test results, defects, remediation actions, and validation findings.
Collect and validate audit evidence from SailPoint and Okta.
Support audit inquiries and remediation tracking.
Develop and maintain test cases, data validation documents, findings summaries, and remediation tracking artifacts for IAM leadership, cybersecurity management, and audit teams.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
Experience in IAM, identity data analysis, or access governance.
Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow.
Hands-on experience with Okta lifecycle workflows and integrations.
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle processes and access governance controls.
Strong analytical, data validation, and troubleshooting skills.
Audit-oriented, detail-focused mindset.
Ability to work independently in enterprise IAM environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills or Experience
Experience supporting SOX or ITGC control validation.
Experience with provisioning and deprovisioning testing across downstream applications.
Experience supporting audit readiness, evidence collection, and remediation tracking.
Experience identifying orphaned accounts, entitlement issues, and access discrepancies.
