Expansion Operator
We’re hiring an Expansion Operator to join a growing industrial manufacturing team in the Claremore area. This is a long-term opportunity with an established production facility that manufactures large-scale mechanical and thermal transfer equipment used across commercial and industrial applications. This role is responsible for operating and adjusting expansion equipment used to form copper tubing to precise production specifications while maintaining quality, efficiency, and workplace safety standards. What You’ll Do
- Operate tube expansion equipment used to form copper tubing to required dimensions and tolerances
- Set up tooling, dies, mandrels, and related machine components according to work instructions and production specifications
- Inspect finished materials using measuring devices including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and production efficiency
- Identify material defects or inconsistencies including cracks, splits, or out-of-spec expansions
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine machine upkeep
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures, manufacturing standards, and workplace policies

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to read work instructions and follow production specifications
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Experience working with copper tubing or soft metals preferred
- HVAC, refrigeration, or heat-transfer manufacturing experience preferred
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices preferred
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, dirt, and metal particles
- Non-climate-controlled facility with typical manufacturing shop conditions
- Required use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators when needed, and OSHA-compliant safety footwear
- Position involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
- Position is considered safety-sensitive in accordance with applicable workplace policies and state regulations
