Onsite position. 1st Shift hours, Mon-Fri from 6:00AM to 2:30PM. OT is available, but not required.
EXPERIENCE
1 year Directly related histology experience X
1 year experience with foundational histotechniques of embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing and primary staining.
1 year experience with operating laboratory or manufacturing equipment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Ability to read, analyze and follow Operating Procedures.
Knowledge of basic manufacturing and laboratory techniques.
Skilled use of word processing and email.
Demonstrated experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement.
Experience with Google products (gMail, gSheets, gDoc, etc), preferred.
Experience with SAP required.
Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to be agile and accurate in a high-volume environment.
Strong organizational skills, planning skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills - written, verbal.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
