PCB Assembler/Rework Specialist
ONLY a 4 day
work week

3:30pm - 2am, M - Th
Pay is based on relevant experience and qualifications ($25 )

Role Responsibilities
- Assemble chassis and electromechanical components using various hardware.
- Perform rework and repair of PCB assemblies, including trace cuts and jumper additions.
- Hand-solder SMT and THT components to IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality standards and workmanship guidelines.
- Wire and solder prototypes and complex assemblies of unique designs.
- Operate equipment such as aqueous cleaners and component placement tools.
- Build through-hole (THT) and surface mount (SMT) PCB assemblies per controlled documentation.
- Assist with wave solder and selective solder processes.
- Cut, form, and manually place components.
- Recommend documentation improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support to PCB Assembler I & II.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to handle small, delicate components with accuracy
- Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical documentation
- Strong component identification knowledge
- Proven soldering skills meeting IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards
- Experience with PCB rework (SMT & THT) and rework soldering equipment
- Proficiency using SN63, SN96, and HMP solder materials
- Strong attention to detail in high-volume, precision-driven environments
- Ability to assemble medium to highly complex electronic assemblies
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of PCB assembly experience (including rework)
