Heat Treat Machine Operator – 1st Shift
Nesco Resource is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Heat Treat Machine Operator for a local manufacturing facility. This position operates heat-treating equipment, tracks parts throughout the oven process, and ensures all quality standards are met.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay:$17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Operate ovens and equipment used for heat treating and stress relief
- Accurately enter data for parts entering and exiting ovens
- Process first-piece and part samples for Setup Technicians
- Review and sign off on completed processes
- Wash, spin, oil, and dye parts as required
- Follow all Quality Management System procedures
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Comfortable using computer programs related to heat-treatment processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written instructions and process specifications
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Previous manufacturing, machine-operation, or heat-treatment experience is preferred
