Position Summary
Supports daily manufacturing operations by coordinating production activities, ensuring adherence to build schedules, maintaining quality standards, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. Serves as a key liaison between operators, supervisors, and support functions to ensure efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Production Coordination
- Coordinate production activities within assigned work areas to ensure products are processed according to build schedules.
- Communicate work instructions and priorities to personnel in alignment with supervisory objectives.
- Assist in expediting priority products and critical tasks as needed.
- Monitor work-in-process (WIP) inventory and track daily production output.
- Support manufacturing operations directly when necessary to meet production requirements.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure production and quality goals are achieved within assigned areas.
- Perform regular process, quality, tooling, and equipment audits.
- Inspect and determine disposition of rejected components according to approved procedures and documentation.
- Provide feedback on defects, support corrective actions, and assist with operator retraining when required.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), FDA regulations, and all applicable company policies and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry trends, and company products and objectives.
