Grinder – Metal Finishing Operator

Location: Oberlin, OH
Pay Rate:$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Grinder to join our manufacturing team in Oberlin, Ohio. This position is responsible for grinding, smoothing, and finishing metal parts to meet quality specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal components using grinders and other hand tools.
• Remove excess material, rough edges, and imperfections from metal parts.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Read and follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Measure parts using basic measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or grinding experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
