We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized GPS Administrator to support our Maintenance team by managing telematics and GPS systems for customers, vendors, and branch locations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and coordinating with multiple teams to ensure GPS equipment is installed, activated, and operating efficiently.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage GPS orders, replacements, and activations.
  • Receive, track, and upload GPS serial numbers into company databases.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and branch locations to ensure GPS units are properly installed and functioning.
  • Troubleshoot GPS-related issues and arrange replacement units when necessary.
  • Submit warranty and return authorization (RMA) requests for defective equipment.
  • Maintain GPS tracking portals by:
    • Adding new devices
    • Removing inactive devices
    • Updating customer assignments
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for GPS-related questions from branch teams and customers.
  • Process GPS invoices and maintain accurate records.
  • Set up customer GPS portals and provide login credentials.
  • Conduct customer training sessions and webinars as needed.
  • Monitor and manage GPS inventory levels.
  • Track preventive maintenance schedules for service trucks and facility equipment, including compressors and welders.
  • Follow company safety policies and uphold company values in all interactions.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of administrative, customer service, logistics, fleet, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Fleet maintenance, telematics, or GPS experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office-based position.
