Overview
Join our team as an expert in industrial coatings and surface preparation for critical power distribution equipment. This role involves ensuring high-quality epoxy applications through meticulous surface preparation, precise mixing, and thorough quality control.
Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for epoxy application by grinding, cleaning, leveling, and repairing substrates to ensure optimal bonding.
- Mixing and Application: Accurately mix resins, hardeners, and additives according to product specifications. Apply the epoxy using tools such as rollers, brushes, and spray equipment.
- Quality Control: Monitor environmental conditions like temperature and humidity during the curing process. Inspect finished applications for bubbles, uneven thickness, or adhesion issues.
- General Assembly & Documentation: Document quality observations, ensure all panels and doors are secured, and assist with basic mechanical assembly tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in industrial coatings or surface preparation.
- Proficiency in using tools like grinders, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in varying environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with epoxy applications or similar materials.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in mechanical assembly or related tasks.
