Immediate need for general laborer in Youngstown area.
Position is Monday - Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm with some Saturday overtime
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the manufacturing and production of products.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
- Move materials throughout the plant .
- Measure, stage, and prepare materials according to production requirements.
- Assist machine operators with production activities.
- Fill, package, label, stack, and palletize finished products.
- Inspect products for quality and report issues to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Perform routine cleanup of equipment and work areas.
- Follow production instructions, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Safely operate basic hand tools and production equipment after training.
- Work effectively with team members to meet production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced plant environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds .
- Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
