Converting Operator – 2nd Shift
Nesco Resource is now hiring for a 2nd Shift Converting Operator position at a local facility in Lenoir, NC. Candidates will train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
Job Description and Requirements

Operate slitter and converting machinery safely and efficiently.

Convert wide rolls of industrial films and fabrics into specific widths and tightly wound spools.

Perform precision cutting and width adjustments according to production specifications.

Complete machine setups and material/product changeovers.

Inspect finished materials for defects and ensure quality standards are met.

Take accurate measurements and ensure products remain within required tolerances.

Monitor equipment and materials throughout the production process.

Assist with production line needs and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Follow all established safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.

Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Training Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
Regular Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
Important: Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule.
