Overview

Client is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a Jira Platform Engineering team. This role will support API-driven development, automation, Jira platform configuration, and integrations across the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and related add-ons.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain system integrations between Jira, Atlassian tools, and external enterprise systems using APIs.
  • Manage APIs and middleware services to automate manual processes and support data synchronization.
  • Configure and stand up Jira projects, including workflows, issue types, screens, fields, and permissions.
  • Design and implement Jira automations, including native and scripted automation.
  • Create and maintain Rovo agents and use AI capabilities to improve search, insights, and workflow execution.
  • Manage intake processes for new fields, enhancements, and project requests while supporting governance and standardization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data flow, reporting needs, and operational workflows.
  • Improve Jira user experience through configuration, layout, and UI enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot integrations, automations, and Jira platform functionality.
  • Write scalable, clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Stay current with Atlassian platform updates, AI capabilities, and integration best practices.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong back-end development experience with Python and Node.js.
  • Experience with API development, REST integrations, and webhook-based architectures.
  • Hands-on Jira configuration experience, including projects, workflows, fields, automations, and permissions.
  • Experience integrating Atlassian tools and marketplace add-ons.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and APIs such as Google Cloud or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven capabilities and automation frameworks, including Rovo or similar tooling.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Work Details

  • Onsite position at 4910 Tiedeman Rd, Brooklyn, OH.
  • Onsite 5 days per week.
  • Start date: 07-13-2026.
  • End date: 12-18-2026.
