Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a skilled Formulation Technician II to support film manufacturing operations in a regulated production environment. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in chemical preparation, manufacturing processes, or production equipment. The Formulation Technician II will prepare chemical solutions, operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, follow recipe-driven processes, and ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and safety standards while supporting daily production goals.
Pay Rate:
- $20.75 - $23.38/Hour (Based On Experience)

Shift(s):
- B Shift:
Monday - Friday | 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
- Must be flexible to work occasional A/C Shift overtime
- C Shift:
Sunday - Thursday | 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
- Must be flexible to work occasional A/B Shift overtime
Job Duties:
- Prepare chemical solutions used in film and coating manufacturing processes
- Follow detailed recipe-driven procedures with accuracy and consistency
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
- Prepare, assemble, and inspect components required for production
- Complete production documentation and records using SAP/ERP systems
- Access and utilize computer-based procedures, specifications, and work instructions
- Monitor processes and identify potential quality or production issues
- Dispose of scrap and rejected materials following safety procedures
- Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, ISO, and company standards
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to support production goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational or technical education preferred
- 2-3 years of experience in chemical preparation, solution mixing, film coating, manufacturing, or related production environments preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to follow detailed written procedures and technical instructions
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- SAP or ERP system experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of GMP and ISO-regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and laboratory environment
- Exposure to chemicals, solvents, and production equipment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 45 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity for handling components and operating equipment
- Frequent repetitive motions and hands-on production activities
- Must follow all PPE requirements and workplace safety procedures
- Flexible schedule availability required to support production demands
