Nesco Resource is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Laurens, SC area. This position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment while supporting production, warehouse, and material handling operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Load, unload, stage, and move raw materials and finished products
- Supply production lines with materials as needed
- Remove completed products from production areas and transport them to designated locations
- Verify materials, quantities, and locations before movement
- Assist with inventory organization and material tracking
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse and production areas
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
- Assist with additional warehouse and material handling duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous forklift/material handling experience required
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to cross-train in other areas as needed
