Nesco Resource is hiring for two forklift positions at a family-owned logistics company in Brooklyn Heights. We're looking for candidates with experience in truck loading/unloading, shrink wrapping, strapping loads, and inventory control. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a starting pay of $17/hour and the potential for a lead/management role. Pay increases after 90 days based on performance.
Available Shifts:
- 10 AM - 6:30 PM
- 7 AM - 3:30 PM
What You ll Do:
- Operate a sit-down propane forklift to load and unload trucks.
- Manage material flow by retrieving supplies and moving pallets to the production area.
- Maintain inventory levels and monitor for discrepancies.
- Keep the production area clear by organizing and moving pallets.
- Document all material movement and ensure a safe work environment.
What We re Looking For:
- Forklift experience (any material handling background is a plus; training provided).
- Experience with shrink wrapping, strapping loads, and inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
