Description:
* Basic understanding of forging process and procedures
* Ability to follow directions given by the Blacksmith or Supervisor
* Keeps track of serialization of parts
* Maintains a safe and organized work area and displays concern for maintain equipment (manipulator, furnaces, etc.)
* Follows all company policies and safety procedures
* Ensures that the parts being worked on are of the highest quality
Skill/Knowledge:
* High school diploma or equivalent and three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
* Ability to compute rates, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
* Ability to operate a forklift and/or other powered industrial equipment
* Regularly required to stand, walk quickly, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear in a load and hot environment
* Frequently is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch, and climb onto equipment
* Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
* Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and extreme heat
*2nd shift, M-F, 1pm-9:30pm
