Food Production Technician – 1st Shift
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, Day Shift (must be flexible with start/end times as production needs change). Occasional Saturdays may be required.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food processing equipment, including pasteurization and blending systems.
- Add ingredients according to production formulas and monitor mixing processes.
- Inspect products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Perform routine quality checks using testing and measuring equipment.
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
- Work closely with team members to ensure materials are available for production.
- Maintain ingredient inventory and replenish materials as needed.
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment when required.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, food processing, quality control, or a related environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials as needed.
