Position Overview
This role serves as a financial liaison between internal and external business partners including clients, carriers, IT, client services, and other stakeholders. The position is responsible for supporting financial operations through research, analysis, reconciliation, issue resolution, and relationship management.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while partnering effectively across departments and external organizations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a financial liaison for internal and external business partners
- Support stakeholders and management with:
- Research
- Financial analysis
- Issue resolution
- Reporting
- General financial inquiries
- Maintain effective relationships with clients, carriers, IT teams, client services, and other partners
- Manage receivable and relationship management activities
Essential Functions
- Maintain and analyze financial accounts and related data to ensure accuracy
- Conduct timely reconciliations and variance analysis
- Perform root cause analysis and research to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Handle incoming requests and communicate status updates and resolutions to stakeholders
- Partner with internal and external teams to resolve financial and operational issues
- Support quality assurance and organizational compliance initiatives
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting or related financial experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Financial analysis and reconciliation experience
