Field Site Coordinator / Project Coordinator (Contract)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized Field Site Coordinator to support a large-scale fiber installation project based in Granville, Ohio. This role will serve as the on-site liaison between the field operations team and the remote project management team, ensuring daily work is accurately tracked, communicated, and documented.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, computer savvy, and comfortable managing large data sets in Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet. This position is a full-time, on-site contract role supporting a multi-year project with the potential for future opportunities based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily field activities for a large fiber installation project.
- Serve as the communication link between the on-site field crews and the remote project management team.
- Maintain and update project information using Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel.
- Track daily production, including work completed, ongoing activities, and planned work for the following day.
- Dispatch work assignments and coordinate with field crews to ensure project schedules are maintained.
- Upload and organize project documentation and status updates.
- Monitor and manage large project tracking spreadsheets containing hundreds of active work items.
- Provide timely updates to the Project Manager regarding project progress and field activity.
- Support overall project coordination to ensure accurate reporting and efficient workflow.
- Collaborate with internal team members while maintaining organized project records.
Note: This role is focused on internal project coordination and does not involve direct communication with the customer.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Site Coordinator, Field Coordinator, Dispatcher, Administrative Coordinator, or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smarthsheet
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with project leadership.
