Overview
Client is seeking a Field Service Technician – IT to provide hands-on technical support for end users at its Tolleson, Arizona site. This role will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues in a fast-paced production environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, IP phones, and conference room equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform Active Directory administration.
- Support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Provide limited support for corporate mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot Cisco VPN and Citrix issues.
- Provide remote support using LogMeIn.
- Perform USB- and PXE-based device imaging and deployment.
- Maintain asset inventory and technical documentation.
- Support printer and IP telephony systems.
- Coordinate hardware ordering and deployment.
- Manage and update support tickets in ServiceNow.
- Assist with IT projects and Smart Hands support.
- Meet established KPIs, service-level agreements, and priority-matrix requirements.
- Take ownership of requests, communicate progress, and provide timely resolutions.
- Follow applicable service management principles, processes, and guidelines.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Associate's degree in IT or a relevant field.
- At least one year of hardware support experience.
- At least one year of in-person, customer-facing IT support experience.
- Strong hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.
- Strong organization and multitasking skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Experience managing incoming requests through a ticketing system.
- Experience using ServiceNow to manage assigned tickets.
- CompTIA ITF , A , Network , Server , Cloud , or Mobility certification.
Work Details
- 100% onsite in Tolleson, Arizona.
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Overtime and on-call support as needed.
- Anticipated six-month assignment.
- One-round onsite panel interview
