Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to provide onsite and remote support for industrial pelletizing, pulverizing, and filtration systems. This role is responsible for equipment installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and customer training while ensuring excellent customer service and equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites for service and support.
  • Perform equipment installation, startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
  • Train customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, sales, and parts teams to support customer needs.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Support preventive maintenance efforts and equipment performance improvements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of field service or industrial maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 3 years using measuring and testing equipment including micrometers and multimeters.
  • Experience with industrial machinery and manufacturing equipment.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical systems, motors, logic circuits, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.  5 days in duration, home most weekends; internation trips could last up to 2 weeks
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Experience in plastics processing or rotational molding preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including international travel.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, climb, and move throughout the workday.
