Shift:
Monday-Friday 6:30AM-2:30PM
Pay:
$21-$30/hour depending on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Facilities Technician to support the daily operations and upkeep of a manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with their hands, maintaining equipment, and supporting a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout production, storage, and common areas
- Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and machine setups
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, heating, and cooling repairs
- Remove waste materials and coordinate dumpster/recycling services
- Order and maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation
- Support manufacturing operations with equipment changeovers, material handling, staging, and production-related tasks
- Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair work
- Follow all safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns
- Support continuous improvement and assist with additional facility or production needs as assigned
- 2+ years of facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial shop experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Industrial electrical experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Forklift, crane, or aerial lift experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to safely use PPE and other required safety equipment
