Nesco Resource is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Gray Court, SC.

Pay: $28.00–$34.00 per hour, based on experience
Direct Hire – You will be hired directly by the company

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll play a key role in keeping production equipment and facility systems safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime

• Install, inspect, test, adjust, and repair industrial machinery

• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings

• Perform routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures

• Replace defective components and verify proper equipment operation

• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance documentation

• Safely use hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and measuring devices

• Perform light welding, fabrication, and machining as needed

• Communicate equipment concerns and recommend improvements

• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

• Experience maintaining production machinery

• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

• Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, and VFDs is a plus

• Experience with SAP, CMMS, or maintenance management systems is a plus

• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's license required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work on concrete floors for extended periods

• Comfortable working around moving machinery

• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as business needs require
