Facilities Maintenance Technician – HVAC Experience

Position Overview
Advanced manufacturing facility seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain building infrastructure, facility equipment, and utilities. This is primarily a facilities maintenance role with approximately 20% HVAC responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills with commercial HVAC experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems, building equipment, and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance issues.
- Support commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, AHUs, exhaust systems, and split systems.
- Coordinate with contractors/vendors and maintain work orders, PM records, and parts inventory.
- Respond to facility breakdowns and emergencies while following LOTO, OSHA, and site safety procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of facilities, industrial, commercial, or building maintenance experience.
- Must have EPA Certification
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Commercial HVAC experience preferred; experience with RTUs, AHUs, ventilation, or split systems a plus.
- Familiarity with motors, pumps, compressors, VFDs, controls, and electrical schematics.
- Manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, semiconductor, or large commercial facility experience preferred.
Work Environment
- Large advanced manufacturing facility with mechanical rooms, rooftops, and production areas.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, and accessing equipment.
- May work around industrial machinery, utilities, and facility systems.
- Overtime and occasional emergency response may be required.
- Must follow all site-specific safety and PPE requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
$35–$45+/hr DOE
