Looking for a diligent Level 2 Facilities Engineering Assistant to support the day to day technical operations of our Palmdale aerospace complex. The incumbent will assist senior facilities engineers in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving building systems that enable high performance aerospace manufacturing and testing.

Core Responsibilities
Update CAD floor plans to include current furniture layouts, ceiling & lighting schematics as needed.
Process LM Buildings tickets (seating changes, phone relocations, computer moves, event setups, etc.).
Complete nameplate replacements and updates across the facility to meet current branding and compliance standards.
Assist OPAL team in high-level tasks completion to support project timelines.
Update CAD floor plans to include current furniture layouts, ceiling & lighting schematics as needed.
Assist in working with contractors to push invoicing of completed projects.
Assist in Maximo task requirements to ensure FE's can close projects with the necessary documentation.
Project management experience with infrastructure

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree in Facilities Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years of hands on experience in facilities/construction engineering, maintenance, or a similar role, preferably in a high tech or defense environment.
Proficiency with CAD (AutoCAD, Revit) or BIM tools and ability to read technical schematics and drawings.
Working knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel for data logging and simple analyses.
Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow documented procedures.
Good written and verbal communication skills; able to interact effectively with engineers, technicians, vendors, and management.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) security clearance (preferred).

Preferred Experience
Prior experience supporting aerospace or defense facilities, preferably at Client or a prime contractor.
Exposure to energy management programs, LEED/green building initiatives, or sustainability projects.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as Maximo or SAP PM.
