What You'll Do

Rebar Fabrication Associates play an important role in keeping our production moving. You'll work in our fabrication shop cutting, bending, assembling, and moving reinforcing steel used in our precast concrete products and outside customer orders.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Cutting rebar to specified lengths using shears and following bar tags
• Operating rebar benders to form steel to required dimensions
• Tying and welding rebar assemblies according to standard drawings
• Tagging, bundling, and moving material between fabrication stations
• Performing touch-up painting on epoxy-coated rebar after bending
• Inspecting finished bundles to verify bar marks, lengths, quantities, and bends
• Operating forklifts and hoists to stage materials, receive stock, and load trucks
• Making foam and wood blockouts according to daily production lists
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Working closely with the Fab Shop Supervisor and production team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and willing to learn.

• Comfortable working in a physically active, hands-on environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow bar tags and basic drawings
• Strong attention to detail – accurate measurements and counts are important
• Dependable with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and follow production and safety procedures
• Ability to work safely and wear required PPE at all times

Experience with forklifts, rebar shears, benders, or welding is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train
