What You'll Do
As a Window Extruder Operator, you'll operate and support extrusion equipment used to produce high-quality window profiles. This is a hands-on position where you'll develop valuable technical and manufacturing skills .
Your responsibilities will include
- Maintain proper raw-material levels on assigned machines
- Set up packaging including crates, cradles, boxes and other materials
- Measure finished profiles and package products according to specifications
- Verify piece count, color, length and labeling
- Process and organize scrap materials
- Perform extruder setup and teardown
- Perform quality inspections and ensure products meet specifications
- Troubleshoot material, die and mechanical issues
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to perform quality inspections
- Ability to use standard measuring equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and a good work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
