Nesco Resource is hiring a 1st shift Experienced Furniture Sprayer for our local Client in Hickory, NC
Payrate: starting @ $16.00 an hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 6:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
An experienced furniture sprayer applies finishes like stains, lacquers, paints, and sealers to wood or metal products. Key job duties include operating spray equipment, preparing and sanding surfaces, and mixing materials to match precise color specifications.
Surface Preparation & Finishing
- Sand and prepwood or metal surfaces to ensure a smooth base.
- Apply coatingsincluding stains, toners, sealers, paints, and topcoats using HVLP or conventional pneumatic spray guns.
- Match colorsand blend tones accurately according to customer or shop orders.
- Mix finishing materialsto correct viscosities and proper pigment ratios.
- Inspect finished partsfor runs, drips, dry spots, or other finish defects.
- Perform touch-upsand minor repairs on damaged or flawed surfaces.
- Clean and maintainspray guns, hoses, and booths to prevent clogs and ensure proper spray patterns
