Event Planner
Position Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Event Planner to support the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events that align with business objectives and enhance the overall customer and employee experience. This role will be responsible for managing all phases of event planning, from concept development and logistics coordination through execution and post-event evaluation.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience managing multiple events simultaneously, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and event attendees.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute events that support enterprise business goals and objectives.
- Coordinate and manage marketing events, sales conferences, trade shows, customer events, and other corporate functions.
- Ensure successful event execution from initial planning through post-event evaluation.
- Provide on-site event support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Logistics & Vendor Management
- Direct event logistics, including:
- Registration management
- Attendee tracking
- Presentation coordination
- Event materials support
- Pre- and post-event evaluations
- Procure and manage vendor services.
- Coordinate facility requirements, exhibit setup, audiovisual equipment, transportation, and catering services.
- Research potential event locations and evaluate venue options.
Budget & Project Management
- Develop, manage, and track event budgets.
- Prepare and maintain project plans and timelines.
- Provide periodic status updates and progress reports for event initiatives.
- Manage multiple event projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Reporting & Evaluation
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback from stakeholders and attendees.
- Analyze event outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Recommend enhancements for future events based on lessons learned and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an event planning, event coordination, or event management role.
- Experience planning and executing corporate events, conferences, trade shows, or customer-facing events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience managing budgets and event planning processes.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Excel
- PowerPoint
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience creating reports, presentations, and event tracking documentation.

Travel Requirements
- Must be available to travel as needed to support event planning and execution activities.
