Job Summary:
We are looking for dependable, hardworking Dishwashers to assist with food service operations during an event at a local convention center. This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who can work efficiently while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and work area.
Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Load and unload commercial dishwashers.
- Hand-wash items as needed.
- Keep the dishwashing area, floors, and surrounding work areas clean and organized.
- Remove trash and replace liners as needed.
- Assist kitchen and event staff with basic cleanup duties.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work efficiently in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Perform other general cleanup duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to lift and carry up to approximately 30–50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Previous restaurant, catering, or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule:
Temporary/Event Position – Schedule will be based on event needs.
