Are you looking for a stable manufacturing career with excellent earning potential and hands-on training? We are currently seeking two Entry-Level Machinists to join a growing manufacturing team in Slippery Rock, PA.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offering comprehensive training for individuals who are motivated, dependable, and eager to learn a skilled trade. Previous machining experience is not required. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, machine operation, assembly, or other industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Learn to operate and maintain manufacturing and machining equipment
- Read and accurately use a tape measure to verify dimensions and specifications
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and production processes
- Assist with machine setup, operation, and production activities
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety procedures and company production standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Work closely with experienced team members while developing machining skills
Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Basic math skills required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, lifting, and physical work
- Manufacturing, warehouse, production, machine operator, or industrial experience is helpful but not required
