Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead capital project planning, execution, and site improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing and engineering environment. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional efforts, supporting new product integration, and driving strategic facility and equipment projects while ensuring alignment with site leadership objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects and site improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, HFC, and Operations teams to identify and prioritize capital equipment requirements.
Support new product integration activities, facility moves, and site preparations for upcoming contracts and programs.
Develop detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Conduct equipment sourcing, vendor evaluations, and pricing analysis based on engineering and operational requirements.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Prepare and present project updates, cost analyses, and performance metrics to site leadership.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to long-term operational and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
Demonstrated experience leading capital project planning and execution.
Experience with equipment specification, procurement, and vendor negotiations.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
