Overview
Client is seeking an Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer with Ada experience to support software development for missile and fire-control systems. This role will participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and code implementation through software/hardware integration and formal qualification testing.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze embedded software requirements.
- Design, develop, and implement real-time embedded software using Ada.
- Support software development through implementation, integration, testing, and formal qualification.
- Integrate and test embedded software with associated hardware.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware integration issues.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of real-time embedded software development experience using Ada.
- 3 years of integration and testing experience involving software and hardware.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Linux and/or VxWorks operating system experience.
- Experience working as a software engineer within multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Work Details
- Onsite in Orlando, Florida.
- Monday through Thursday, 4/10A schedule.
- First shift.
