Overview
Client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and integrate embedded software supporting missile programs. This role will analyze requirements, develop software architecture and designs, implement solutions, and integrate software with hardware in support of Missile subsystem flight testing.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze embedded software and subsystem requirements.
- Develop embedded software architecture and detailed designs.
- Design, develop, and implement embedded software using C .
- Deploy, debug, and integrate embedded software on target hardware.
- Support software integration, verification, and flight testing activities.
- Interpret program needs and formulate effective technical solutions.
- Communicate technical solutions, risks, and progress to leadership.
- Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and other engineering disciplines.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Active Secret clearance with the most recent investigation completed within the last 5 years.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in C programming.
- Knowledge of and experience with Embedded Linux.
- Experience deploying, debugging, and integrating embedded software on hardware.
- Ability to interpret program needs, formulate solutions, and communicate effectively with leadership.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Software engineering experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Software integration and verification experience.
Work Details
- Grand Prairie, Texas.
- Onsite full time.
- 4/10A first-shift schedule
