Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer with strong C/C development skills and hands-on Hardware-in-the-Loop experience. This role supports real-time embedded systems, simulation environments, and software development within a secure defense engineering setting.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support real-time embedded software using C/C .
- Work with Linux systems and real-time operating environments.
- Support Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and validation for embedded systems.
- Work with simulation systems tied to real-time embedded software platforms.
- Participate across the full software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with cross-discipline and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Use tools such as Git, GitLab, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum practices where applicable.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- 8 years of experience in real-time embedded software engineering.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in C/C .
- C 11 or higher experience.
- Strong Linux systems experience.
- Experience working in real-time operating environments.
- Hands-on HWIL experience with real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with simulation systems.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Ada experience.
- Full software development life cycle experience.
- Experience working with cross-discipline or cross-functional teams.
- Git, GitLab, and JIRA experience.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
