Overview
Client is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, implement, and integrate embedded software supporting missile programs and flight testing of missile subsystems.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements for missile subsystem applications.
- Develop software architecture and design for embedded systems.
- Implement embedded software using C .
- Deploy, debug, and integrate embedded software on hardware.
- Support software integration activities tied to flight testing.
- Communicate technical solutions and program needs to leadership.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
- Active Secret Clearance with most recent investigation in the last 5 years.
- Experience in software engineering and software development.
- Knowledge and experience with Embedded Linux.
- Proficiency in C programming.
- Experience deploying, debugging, and integrating embedded software on hardware.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Skills or Experience
- Experience working with multi-disciplined engineering teams.
- Experience designing ground system embedded software.
- Experience with GitLab.
- Software integration and verification experience.
